Look into allowing regex searches

Any further thoughts on this? I'd love to be able to search and replace with regex patterns.

This does sound useful, but we don't have plans to add this in the near future @GaryJones

Thanks for the heads-up. Can I ask, for what reason?

I've used https://wordpress.org/plugins/search-regex/ a fair bit in the past, and the regex part works well, though the checking anything but wp_posts seems flakey (no results, poor performance).

Would you be interested in a PR for this feature?

Thanks for the offer, however our goal right now is to just focus on bug fixes and other small tweaks while we get WP Migrate DB and WP Migrate DB Pro up to feature parity with BSR Free/Pro. At that point we hope to consolidate the two codebases and release BSR as a build of WP Migrate DB.

On their website it's written that it will be implemented in the future, but still not there.
