Installing the Rpi Pico(2) firmware
Hi, i am looking for how to install the firmware on the Rpi Pico. I am not a linux guru, but i can't figure out the instructions. If i run a GIT command over windows, i get weird errors like missing folders or files or so.
Does that mean, it needs to be installed over a linux invironment and how would i need to do that?
Is there a ready to go file to just upload to the Rpi?
The reason i want this, i have a Sparcstation20 that runs, but i have no keyboard. That adapter usb3sun was a solution to connecto to the sparcstation and see if my sun monitor would work.
So, please can you help me out :)
Thank you Ronny
you can use the firmware.uf2 file on the latest release page without any git commands, and it should work on windows too. plug it in, open the drive in My Computer, and paste the file in. more details in this section of the user guide :)
Completed the build, except for the display that i don't have at this moment.
Firmware is copied to the Rpi.
So, i tried with the Sparcstation 20 to see if it works, but i still see on screen "keyboard not detected". I can power on the Sun with the powerbutton on the adapter and i do hear activity on the buzzer when i remove the usb keyboard.
The 8-pin Din cable is all straight. PowerLed does not light up. I use a old HP AZERTY keyboard.
Do i need to set things up first or should it work like it is. Or should i wait for the Oled display.
Thank you
