Hi !

I'm considering trying out this bob business, but I'd like to make sure. As of January 2022, have there been any update preventing the hack ? Obviously I'll never connect the device to my network, but I'm worried they patched the product on shelves.

Sorry if there was the info somewhere, I read your manual, but could have missed it.

Hi there! I'm fairly certain that they haven't patched it. Mine is still working, and I haven't heard any issues from the existing users.

Oh wow, such a quick reply. I was hesitating jumping the gun tonight haha. I'll take the risk, then. I'll come back to confirm once I get everything.

And in case I forget, thank you already for the hack and for taking the time to explain "basic" stuff in your readme. I didn't have the first clue as to what to look for regarding the detergent. ^^

@Tangeek42 have you updated your bob to the latest fw? would be nice to hear if it still works =)

I haven't used up my first casette yet, and I was too lazy to order a kit in the meantime. ^^' Getting close, though. :D

I can confirm it still works on 8.0.1, which was the latest firmware a month ago. :)

Now I'm only missing the detergent.

Hi all, FYI I received my bobrewinder today and I confirm that it always work with latest firmware at this date: 9.0.1 :-)

Just connect it to my Daan-tech account (and disconnect just after, I'm not comfortable with permanent link of a simple dishwasher !!)

But I don't know if there is any advantage to keep it updated ?! I hope that Daan tech made an update for chosing to use product in the cassette ...or not. For any cycle or just one. Perhaps I'll have more chance by waiting alternate firmware ;-) ;-)
