Homeassistant hismart ac wrong temperature report

Open niahane opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

Hi, in the office we have 5 hisense air conditioners, the commands to turn it on and off the various modes work correctly via home assistant with this addon and mqtt. The only problem I have is that the climate entities report 0 as the temperature perceived by the air conditioner. Sometimes some climate entities report the correct temperature sometimes not, I don't understand what it could be. Could you please give me some information? An example below: image

Now i have set our ac in cooling mode because it starts to get hot in the office, but if temperature sensor report zero the climate entity cant start the splitters. Please someone can help us?

I'm having the same issue, I also noticed that in the original app all my devices show as offline, I don't know if it could be related.

I took a few steps forward, I dont know why but i have an internal dns server perfectly working for all my 200 internal devices except for this kinds of AC (i'm using only mikrotik machines), so i have bypassed in dhcp server the automatic DNS server local address (192.168.1.1 in my case) and forced to set an external dns only for those devices (1.1.1.1) the remaining of my nework continue to using internal DNS. And the problem is solved, now i am able to see all'internal temperatures. I discovered a new problem but i dont think is related to DNS, it seems that this addon cannot change the AC mode. If i set the ac whit his remote in dry mode for example i cannot change this mode from home assistant example "cooling" but i am able to set temperature.
