When trying to install this gem on rails 5, I get

jquery-modal-rails (~> 0.0.4) was resolved to 0.0.4, which depends on
      railties (< 5.0, >= 3.2.0)

Is there a plan to upgrade this gem to support rails 5? Are there common work-arounds in the meantime?
