somehow commit + add to change log

you don't want all your commits to be added to the change log, but it would be nice to be able to optionally add it to the change log. not sure what the best way to do this is th

Also what part of the commit would be added? Just he summary line?

Which goes the other way. It reads what you have written in the changelog and then prepares a new commit with that as the summary.
