Its not matching movies documentaries

Open Ruke805 opened this issue 4 years ago • 4 comments

I installed it as in the tutorial, it is recognized as an Agent, but it is only recognizing TV documentaries. I don't know if I understood the part about "Add the folder name to the movie identificator field", I just copied what I saw on the screenshot "tmdb"... but still it is not recognizing Movies Documentaries ... Can someone help me?

Does anyone have this working?

The movie identificator field should have whatever is unique or the name of your movies folder path. In the tutorial it was "tmdb" because that is the name of the movies directory.

It appears that the screenshots are no longer hosted, so I can't refer to them.

I have a similar issue.

I've tried many things, but my movies folder either :

  1. doesn't appear
  2. is parsed as tv shows
  3. is put into one show with 76 seasons, one for each film

I've tried putting the movie folder in the tv shows folder, and aside it (so library/tvdocumentaries/movies and library/movies), I tried adding only the tv folder as a library folder and both of them as the library folder, I tried to enter the movie path indicator as the raw value (c:\library\tvdocumentaries\movies), or in many relative ones (/movies, \movies, movies), but nothing seems to work.

I'm, of course, rescanning the library between every change.

Am I missing something obvious?

same issue here I have documentaries/documovies for documentary films, set documovies as identifier but it is showing as a documovies series with one episode for each film and no metadata for them

I have the TV folder set up as a normal TV folder

I have the films folder set up with each film in a folder of it's own with either an IMDB or TMDB code

eg

/mnt/Passport2TB/docus/films/"'People You May Know (2020) {tt12606876}'"/"People You May Know (2020).mkv"

The tt is from the IMDB link https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12606876/

For TMDB use {tmdb-747783} : https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/747783-people-you-may-know

Thank you, in the meantime I setup the whole thing with radarr/sonarr so I should be able to try your solution pretty easily without having to manually get the imdb id, I will now give it a try!

If it works out please can you provide details about radarr/sonarr?

Thanks
