Clarifying hicInterIntraTAD

Hello, I'd like to clarify what "inter-TAD" means in the output from hicInterIntraTAD. Are "inter-TADs" defined as the diamond regions between adjacent TADs?

The brown and blue region are inter-TAD regions.
