SMTP Email configuration Issue

Describe the bug In my company, we use email relay (no need email account password) and port 25 for every system to send emails. On Deepfence, we configure SMTP email but it's not successful.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'Settings'
  2. Click on 'Email Configuration'
  3. Fill in an Email Account, random password because it's relay email, port 25
  4. Test with Forgot Password or Scan Vulnerability

Expected behavior Email was not sent.

Hi, could you please tell me which specific log file you need to analyse ? Because the diagnostic logs contain some sensitive information.

Hi all, how is the process of fixing this issue ? Because it's related to the problem when users forget their password, email will be used to recover password. Thank you very much.
