Newer H5174 seems to (mostly) work

Open geoffbon opened this issue 4 years ago • 1 comments

I bought a H5174 from Amazon this week and it appears to work fine as a type 5 sensor.
Link here.

From one of the answered questions it appears this is a newer model of the H5074, with an upgraded sensor.
I have a question about the battery level, it seems to have wrong values, sometimes negative, and in the below example over 100. Is this expected to be correct? Or, am I using the wrong type?

Ok, an update, it's my fault - it appears that it should be a type 4, this gives accurate values, and a battery value of 100%. So it's probably worth adding to your list in README.md.
