Favicon appears boxed in Google results
The png used is this, which has a grey background:

I guess Google have done something with their formatting, as it's now in a circle:
So the question is: should the favicon just be the frog with a transparent (or white) background?
Looks fine to me now, except for the low contrast of the image
HI @bates64 @marijnvdwerf I am willing to work on this issue. Could you please suggest what I can do to resolve this issue ?
Hi Shubhankar, I reckon the best thing to do is change the image in the manifest to have a light background. Then on Google it will look like the GitHub result that Mark posted. Feel free to join our Discord if you need help
Hi @bates64 @marijnvdwerf should I replace this code "src": "purplefrog-512.png" in the manifest.json code it with this image
Should generate a png from an svg to ensure its nice and crisp
should i use general web tools to generate one from svg or there is any other method @mkst

Ok so i will replace the "src": "purplefrog-512.png" with this white background image in manifest.json @mkst
Sounds good to me!
