Surely every O/S (or hardware) disk cache should take care of asynchronous writes better than we could. Either way I'm also keen that this is supported in the core (configurably).
Yes the plugin should be working. I think a lot of people agree longer term it should happen by default at which the point the plugin should not be necessary...

It's filtering the entire library in "native" order by inclusion on that playlist. Works, but not really ideal (hence this feature request)
