custom album cover from emojis or icons

In some cases you need to change album cover to either access the album faster or for privacy leak

Having a custom in app solution line full painted covers with icons or emojis on it would be a great way to achieve both

Even the generated cover can be just one letter (people may like it) But about icons i can say that it's better to be one big emoji(system emojis or NotoColorEmoji) with 4 randomly transparent and rotated emojis in the background And a colored background which can be colored from the emoji colors or with user selection

I'm on the fence about this. I can see the value of it, but I'm not sure about the right UX within Aves. It would need lots of settings and parameters to allow the user to design the cover as they wish.

I totally understand, mainly it needs emoji & icon list perhaps a letter list combined together in a layout A simple pattern generator to work with SVGs (the noto emojis are in svg format and its font is so lightweight but for other emojis font of other systems they mostly are PNGs as a font) A gradient as background which pick color from emoji/pick color for letters & icons randomly A circle at the top of layout (compatible with dark/light mode of system) with the emoji at top of it and for icons and letters do something opposite (many scenarios can be applied) That's a lot of work thou , I have always seen Aves as a leader among other gallery apps since it pays attention to things that no one does
