- Android Version: Lineage OS 22.2/Android 15
- Revancify Version: v2.7.0
Was working some week ago. I just have apply some weekly update of LineageOS. But I think it's more likely come from the revencify updates. There is an easy was to downgrade the revancify version to test an older one ?
Revancify fails to mount YouTube. I'm also facing the same problem
The logs clearly shows that the installation fails in spite of having the stock version installed.
The mount related code hasn't been touched for months. If you started having issues recently, its purely your device on fault.
I suggest you to check if the YouTube installed by the Custom ROM is creating issues.
Uninstall that version, if yes.
Hi, I have completely uninstalled Youtube and it is currently no longer on my system at all. But the error doesn't change. I also tried with Reddit to see if it changed anything but I get the same behavior.
On the other hand, one of the things that has changed since last time is the use of the Shelter application and therefore the use of a “pro” android profile to have a second instance of certain applications. It maybe related ?
Well, its only you who could debug the issue with your device. The current mount script is absolute perfect and works for thousands of devices.
I test the Revanced Manager App with Mounting. And it works. I retried revancify after that after unmounting the Youtube Patched App. So for now I'll deal with it. My best lead is the Android Work Profile which is the biggest change since last time. But I don't have the time to test deleting it to put it back for the moment. Maybe I'll test later. If anyone is using this kind of native Android feature, are you experiencing the same kind of problems?
I'm also having the same issue as OP. "Installation failed..." Using GrapheneOS with @pixincreate Magisk.
E: I only got it working without root (ie, with the GMS core patch)! Also, I did update GrapheneOS from 2025032500 to 25050700 in that time.
Same issue here it was working too for months and now can't install same error in the log. Oneplus 7t with Lineageos 22.2 (Android 15). Revanced Manager can install youtube music or mount it but the app closes itself at start. Only way I found to get a working ytm is magisk module
