FlexAsio causing input to stop working on Reaper/plugins

Hi. I'm having a problem with FlexAsio using Windows WASAPI as backend since it's the only backend that works for me. At first it works fine, everything sounds great, but after a while playing my guitar it randomly stops "receiving signal" and i have to use "ctrl+p" to, let's say, deselect and reselect the input (actually i just open device preferences and click apply for the app to refresh signals) and then it starts working again.

Since this has been a pain in the ass for a while now, i started using normal Asio4ALL back again. It works fine, no troubles but i'd like to continue using FlexASIO to play over youtube music or spotify.
