Detail object culling causes some tiles and assets to not be rendered
Description: Turning the detail object culling on in the options causes some of the tiles in the world as well as some assets to not be rendered. Issue was observed with the tiles in the vicinity of the crossroads near -51,0. Detail object culling when turned on also caused the body of the trams to disappear when the tram is in motion leaving only the windows rendered.
Reproduction rate: 5/5 (100%)
Steps to reproduce:
- Log in either on guest or a wallet account.
- Open up the Settings menu and in the Graphics section toggle the "Detail object culling" option on and set "Detail object culling size" to a value of at least 40.
- Use the
/goto -11,0
command to teleport next to the tram line. - Walk through the tram line in a straight line over to -52,0.
- Observe the nearby tiles.
Results:
Tiles are not being rendered with the "Detail object culling" option turned on.
Expected results: Tiles are being rendered with the "Detail object culling" option turned on.
Notes:
- Platforms: Windows, web and desktop, wallet and guest login.
- Issue occurs for the production and dev branch and it originated from the Release 2022-10-19 branch.
