Content Server: Load Testing
In order to scale the network, the limits and bottlenecks needs to be found. The Goal of this Epic is the define the testing scenarios and hypothesis with the needed tasks in order to determine how to scale and support more concurrent users at Decentraland, some open questions are:
- how many peers an isolated node can manage?
- how the load of the network affect a node performance, what is the impact of adding more nodes to the network?
- what would be the limit of peers that the Catalyst Network can support?
- how much can we expand the network without changing the full mesh synchronization?
- Is there anything that can be done to reduce the resources consumption and support more peers in a single node?
