Why is there no "New page" button?

In the admin panel you can add or edit posts, and you can edit pages, but not add new pages, how come?

This is a limitation of inner workings of the CMS: posts are a collection - every post there has a common layout, structure, and is included on the Latest Stories page - and this is what Netlify CMS is built for. However, pages are each with unique layout, path etc. If you want to add more pages, you need to add a new folder in site/content with _index.md, a new layout file in site/layouts/section, and an item in the pages collection in site/static/admin/config.yml (look at the other pages there for inspiration).
