Support JupyterLab 4/Notebook 7

Would it be possible to get a breakdown of what is needed to make compatibility w jlab 4 happen? Thanks!

in this case, the knowing of the problem would be similar to the doing of the actual work. as a document, widget, mime renderer, etc. many of the upstream APIs are relevant.

Further, we've been trying to maintain compatibility for lab 3 (which still ships), which adds additional development complexity, especially in test, and ensure support for notebook 7.
