Borg. What other remote backends are supported ? rclone?

Unless I'm missing something, Borg only supports Borg remotes - it doesn't support rclone. You could rclone mount and try borg-ing to it, but that doesn't count and also seems to have problems: https://github.com/rclone/rclone/issues/3641
