[BUG] Preview: Console Icon Disappears on Offline

Open JavesBastatas opened this issue 2 years ago • 2 comments

EFFECT: When previewing html, the console icon on upper-right corner will not show up. It happens when there is no network access available. Regardless of console choice (legacy/eruda), this issue persists.

CAUSES: It turns out that turning off WiFi and mobile data, or blacklisting the app on phone's network management causes the issue.

Thanks for the info. I'll check and fix it.

I found a temporary workaround though. You need to close the app and reopen the app to make the console icon appear again. The workaround will work only if the app is closed using back key (triggers "Alert: Close the application?" dialog). It would not work if the Acode Editor is closed by:

  • going to homescreen and clearing from Recent Apps
  • force close in Settings
