Yes, I've the same error, workaround is to use only the username for this function. But it's working with some users (like: [email protected]).

I've tested with both images `fluent/fluentd-kubernetes-daemonset:v1.4-debian-graylog-1` and `fluent/fluentd-kubernetes-daemonset:v1.4.2-debian-graylog-1.1`. But I get the same error. Ps. I use the graylog 3.1 from [this](https://hub.docker.com/r/graylog/graylog) docker file
