Feature request: Unlock Send by email limited file size

Hi, dear dev.

It's annoyed that reMarkable limits the file size of email sending and force to export files on Desktop app.

It there any method to unlock this restriction, or modify the limited file size?

Yes, and this shows up when I tried to send a page from a 80mb pdf.

Is there any method to bypass the limit, or set the limit to a higher number?

Hi,

Even if it was possible, it would not make a lot of sense. Most mail providers (Gmail, Microsoft, ...) don't accept mails lager that 20-25mb anyways.

Hi, I'm not trying to say that sending the file larger than 25mb, but extracting pages from documents larger than 25mb.

If you try to send a single page from a 50mb document, it shows that error. So is there any method to bypass that limit? Thanks.

It looks like that behavior is hardcoded into the Xochitl user interface, not anything that the backend can influence. The most straightforward workaround (although I agree it's stupid) is probably to duplicate the document, delete the pages you don't want to send, and transmit that smaller file.
