Can clicking the eye icon twice not hide the written layer?

Could there maybe be a button that triggers the written layer to be hidden and then immediately unhide the written layer so we can force a refresh?

What is the use case of this function anyways? I see none, @ddvk. Maybe I lack to see how this is useful. Please enlighten me.

@martin-braun When you take notes about a document you read. You can toggle between the document and your notes.

@zelomel I see. I had such case, but I did two finger swipe downs to jump to the recent document. I see where this can be useful, though, it's faster to use the eye icon and cutting the notes out later on.
