I just get this output straight away:

Same here. Arch, fully updated. Starts and exists silently with no visible result.

As per this suggestion, you may need to first accept the License and GDPR terms, i.e. speedtest-net --accept-license --accept-gdpr - you only need to run this once.

I had the same issue, but after accepting the License and GDPR terms, the "silence" was gone.

Edit: The readme also hints to this.
