Mail Thread Issue

How can I download whole mail thread of a particular mail after that only the new messages of that thread? Can someone guide me, please?

There is no built-in feature to achieve thread iteration, you have to read headers such Message-Id, References and In-Reply-To and organize accordingly the mails.

How do I call "imap_thread ( resource $imap_stream [, int $options = SE_FREE ] ) : array" method to get whole thread. can you please provide dummy code?
