Possibility of adding Rspamd option
Could be useful to include an option that would install Rspamd rather than the original spamassassin and postgrey combo. Rspamd could be of interest to some as it also provides a web interface for statistics and configuring and claims to be lighter.
Hi! Looked into it just very briefly - I assume that I don't know how I feel about swapping the software.
My point is that we track the original mail-in-a-box repo and import updates from them where feasible. Changing the software it operates on (Swapping spamassassin for rspamd, sqlite for mysql, nginx for apache, removing Nextcloud, etc.) is out of scope of this project/fork, as doing so is asking for very ugly merge conflicts.
I do suggest that you try filing an issue with the folks at mail-in-a-box (https://github.com/mail-in-a-box/mailinabox/) and see what's their opinion on it. If the update comes from them it's much easier to integrate on my end.
I think it has been discussed in the mail-in-a-box forums before, however I don't think the discussion went anywhere. I've tried it before using the original mail-in-a-box software and I would say it worked flawlessly, just by changing the postfix config and stopping postgrey and spamassassin.
But I have to agree with you, it would cause ugly merge conflicts.
