use of 2nd generation siri remote

Hi, I have a question about the 2nd generation siri remote. When I launch the Apple TV simulator on Mac, the simulator does not react to the pan gesture and 4 directional button events sent by the 2nd siri remote, but the central button click works. Do you know how to fix it? My 1st generation siri remote does not have this problem. It seems that the Mac cannot recognize some remote inputs. Thanks in advance.
