Issue 69 (and many, many, others) was the same as this but was instantly closed with "WontFix".

The game fails to load and an "Exception (DSI) Occurred" followed by a crash dump and an exit to hbc after 8 seconds.

Update: neither 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 works. testing 1.1 now

I am keeping this issue open so other people will be able to find it; however I have concluded that the only version that works is downloadable from the homebrew browser. Do not bother with the github version.

I have the same issue, unplugging my USB harddrive resolves the issue

Would you happen to still have the data from the Homebrew Browser? I can't find Super Mario War listed. Using the old repo, the Homebrew Browser just loops on some error -81.
