After installing Mongo Explorer IDEA doesn't remember project's perspective after project closing and the following reopening / IDEA restarting

Let say I want to display the customized Tool Window (e.g. Mongo Explorer) along with the Project tree. I enable it, see screenshot: 15_112007.png Now I restart the IDEA and Mongo Explorer tool window disappears, screenshot: 15_111944.png. With Mongo Explorer enabled IDEA doesn't remember which tool window has been used.

With Mongo Explorer enabled IDEA doesn't remember project's perspective after project closing and the following reopening.

In other words, if MongoDB plugin's panel is displayed, so when I close the project and reopen it after that, MongoDB plugin's panel will not be displayed.

Hi,

Which version do you use? I read some issues were raised for the latest version 2016 regarding the windows docking.

FYI, I currently test it on Idea 15 and I do not encounter this bug.

I use 2016.1 but I had the same issue with builds 144.x (IDEA 15 EAP). I have this issue when I add or change the external libraries or invalidate projects's cache.

Ok, I will have a look on it. Perhaps the recent changes made in Idea makes the plugin unstable or incompatible.
