This is an offshoot of issue #685. Is anyone working on this? If not, would you be interested in a PR?

The issue seems to be upstream. I have opened a [ticket](https://core.tcl-lang.org/tcl/tktview/67d5f75c36) in Tcl's Fossil repository.

The banner at the top of the readme is pretty large. For me it loads with a noticeable delay. I have used [Oxipng](https://github.com/shssoichiro/oxipng) to reduce its size by 36%.
