Error executing command

ffmpeg throws the error "Error splitting the argument list: Option not found" for any argument I use with the script. Apparently, the arguments are being passed over to ffmpeg as it is.

If I use the --webcam option, the error will be "Unrecognized option '-webcam'"

Can you please give more information?

Please provide the screencast version, operating system, the executing shell, full command line and output log.
