Operating System
Windows 11 22000.832
@snowflakenf Did you use Dbeaver standalone version on this PC previously?
@snowflakenf Did you use Dbeaver standalone version on this PC previously?
No,I just use it first time.
@snowflakenf, Does it had a successful launch previously?
@snowflakenf, Does it had a successful launch previously? No,first launch.
@snowflakenf, Sorry for waiting, I was, unfortunately, wasn't able to reproduce this. You are getting a null for logs due to AppData/Roaming virtualization. I think you should try to create workspace folders by installing and launching standalone DBeaver and open it via the winstore version this may allow you to create a log file there or even fix the issue.
The version from github release worked, while the version from store didn't still. All right,I use the standalone one from now. As for the problem of the previous one, maybe I will never know.
I think we should investigate possible ways to extract logs from ws store apps
Have dbeaver installed using snap on RHEL8. Was working up till today and now I'm getting this error
Edit: Was an issue with my postgres, restarted the service and dbeaver is working again
I'm experiencing the same issue, but I have used this install many times. I get this error on startup now, and don't know how to get rid of it without doing a reinstall, where I will lose all my connections etc.
I think the windows app version is just not really a good idea. Same thing when you want to see where a script file is on your drive, I found it impossible to find out with the windows store version.
anyone struggling to move from winstore to standalone and worried about loosing the scripts and connections should follow this.
install standalone version then copy folder in this link to new workspace location. store version is handy for auto updates, but ive had it break twice on me and moving back to strandalone.

I was facing the same problem when upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Right click on DBeaverCE > App settings > under Reset section > Choose Repair fixed the issue.
