Add contribution steps to readme

Open idagelic opened this issue 11 months ago • 10 comments

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. We should add a section to the readme called "Contribute to Daytona using Daytona" with details on how to set up a workspace with a fork of our repository. This will make contributing simpler and perhaps more appealing in general.

IT is a great way to guide potential contributors on how they can contribute to project.

we should add a section called readme where people can read about daytona.

we should add a contribution guidelines of how you can contribute: Clone your forked repository to your local machine make your change to codebase. test your changes open a pull request in main branch once approved changes will merged in main branch.

Hey @idagelic, can I write this documentation for the users using Gitpod, as docker is pre-installed in that?

@Tpuljak I think instead of adding this section to readme we should add it to daytona.io/docs [Documentation Website]
