stockfish 15 is not using mutlithreading on a mac studio

hi, I just installed stockfish via homebrew on a mac studio. I use Hiarcs CE Pro as a gui. But stockfish 15 is only using 2 threads, even when I switch it to 10 threads in the engine settings of hiarcs. Stockfish 14.1 ist using 11 threads and plays much stronger than stockfish 15. Is there any setting how I can enable multithreading on a m1 max?

Your question is about Hiarcs GUI, which I'm not familiar with. If you use the Stockfish Mac app, threading is fully supported: in the menu bar, select Stockfish > Preferences and adjust Threads to your liking.
