How do you programmatically set "clippable"?

It doesn't seem like Clippable has a "request" function and was curious how others were doing that here? Or are they being smarter with how they use resizeable? I am trying to provide a clip and rotate to an image editor and can't seem to figure how to restore the edits that were made for rotation and cropping.

Clippable's request is not yet supported.

But I think I might consider it.
