Only one branch
I think that using different branches with stable functionality and testing (devel) is very important.
Using the ROS conventions in branches can be very helpful: http://wiki.ros.org/bloom/Tutorials/FirstTimeRelease
Maybe that way we can create a pioneer3at package that can be included in the jenkins build farms.
I'm still waiting on rosaria to be included upstream, which is waiting on libAria to sync with ubuntu.
libAria is already synced in Ubuntu 13.10 but needs a manual sync for 13.04 which is unlikely to happen unless someone lobbies really hard to get it done.
The future is bright though, and it should be possible starting with the next version of ROS. :)
I do use this as my personal dumping ground however, so I'll set up a -devel and -release branch to help keep the noise down for any users that happen to be out there. ;)
