I have configured all parameters but still not able to connect to RM mini 3 pro white light is not blinking for learning mode

I've just discovered I'm in the same situation with my RM Mini 3. It's not producing the flashing white light, I'm always getting "Command not received." As a beginner I thought I had done well to get to this point with the project. Having looked at the mjg59/python-broadlink#274 comments I'm still none the wiser. Has there been any progress on this issue?
