NPM jQuery outdated

I installed the NPM package and I have 2 vulnerabilities because of jQuery version is outdated in this package.

Is it possible to update it on NPM?

The issue is this plugin was poorly designed. Their jquery dependency should be listed as a peer dependency. I'd avoid this plugin.
