Uploaded heightmaps don't display

I tried uploading heightmaps from Worldengine, a different tectonic sim. When I drag them onto the page, the 'drag here' prompt shows up, but they end up having no effect. Tried it with the sim paused and not paused. I also tried it through the save menu. I'll attach the image I used.
