Node position

Hi, thank you for a great package! I was wondering if there is a way to position the nodes in a different way. Currently nodes seem to center on the y axis regardless of the position of the previous node. This doesn't work well for my application, as demonstrated by the length of the flow between "chromovirus" and "Reina" on the following diagram:

I would like the children nodes to be closer to their parents. Is there a way to control this? Cheers, Marie

I would like to bump this. I have a similar usecase where more control for Y positioning across different X would be useful. In my usecase I would like either an ability to micromanage or a setting that adjust the heights of each nodes so each X-axis slice covers a similar amount of vertical space.
