Home screen blank after failed resync

If the manual pull-down full resync fails because of a network timeout, the Home Screen shows a default empty layout with zero items.

The app then becomes unusable until a full resync succeeds, since there are now items to review.

This is not a big issue but it happens from time to time, on the train for example.

It would be nicer if the app just went back to its state before the sync attempt.
