iOS keyboard switching

after the latest update, when doing reviews, the keyboard switch from the japanese to english (or vice versa) is more visually clear and annoying. it pops up from the bottom instead of switching smoothly

Just bumping this thread. I updated my iPhone 13 to iOS 16.3.1, but I still see the annoying keyboard switching animation.

I think this may have been intentionally added in ad3b008.

I'm seeing this behaviour on the latest update (app version 1.26, iPhone 12, iOS 16.1) as well - it's actually giving me some motion sickness. It feels like the input box is being rapidly deselected (making the keyboard lower to the bottom of the screen) and then reselected when the next review is loaded (so the keyboard comes up from the bottom again). This only happens when the keyboard language changes between reviews.

I'm also seeing this, I think since right when 1.26 was released. iPhone 14 Pro Max with iOS 16.3.1

If clarification is needed/helpful: when switching from English keyboard to Japanese keyboard, it used to immediately change, in like 1 frame of "animation". Just instantaneous. I referred back to a screen capture video of me doing my reviews to confirm this.

Now, the English keyboard will slide down, off the bottom of the screen, and the Japanese keyboard will slide up in its place. It's not a matter of it taking longer to switch, since I'm sure it's still under ½ a second, but visually it's quite distracting. With the constant up & down, I agree with Isona that it really bothers the eyes.
