Problem with app for Apple Watch

I have been using Tsurukame on my Apple Watch for a long time, and I love it. After the last update it doesn't work any more. I can click the icon on the watch and choose if I want to see my level or my number of reviews, but the number is not displayed in the compilation on my watch face.

I tried to reinstall the app on my watch and it didn't help. When I reinstall, it shows a wrong number of reviews and tells me that the data on the watch is stale. When I open Tsurukame on my phone, the app on my watch says that it was updated a few seconds ago, but it still shows either nothing where the number of reviews should have been, or a wrong number of reviews.

The version on my phone is 1.23.853. I first saw the issue with the app store version of the app, and now I'm on the Testflight version of the app.

Same here, it's been displaying the 'stale data, open app on iphone to update' message for months...
