Make economics pre-requisites explicitly clear...
An important point is that you should make clear that people need a minimum of economics background. At the very least Micro 1 and/or some Introduction to Economics like Nordhaus-Samuelson. I have seen too many people criticizing economics and doing very complicated mathy things while they just did not understand the very basics, like what really are supply and demand curves or what is GDP. Then they make conceptual mistakes that invalidates the whole "science". It's a real pity and it is hurting the reputation of the field, I would suggest putting high priority on avoiding that.
