Unify master and gh-pages branches

It appears that the master branch was never used apart from the initial setup. Since that is usually considered the default branch, it would be nice to delete it so that it becomes evident that the gh-pages is the primary branch for this project.

Alternatively, it could be deleted and gh-pages renamed to "master", since now Github Pages can be configured to serve from any branch name :)
