Would this work with a RJ45 port based controller?

Hi David,

I have a standing desk with with two motors that has a controller with a RJ45 connector different from the LogicData controller, I was wondering if you have any advice on this?

Much appreciated !

Hi @san6044, interesting. I wonder if they really transmit ethernet packets through this connector or just use a proprietary protocol. Do you know who the manufacturer of the controller is? I guess the cable goes into the hand switch, right? Is it easy to open up? If so, the cables might reveal what the cables are used for.

David, After doing some research, the connector is actually a RJ10. I was trying to find more info online as far as wiring goes but unfortunately I didn’t find much as far as the connector I have. I contacted the company directly and they refused to provide with with the wiring schematics. The cable that comes with my desk (Uncage Ergonomics standing desk frame) has only 5 cables actually running to the controller with a RJ10. Would love to hear your thoughts and possibly work something out to make it work. Thank you! Much appreciated it!
