Api getting called twice...

I have encountered a issue.. I have website whose url is passed in iframe src="", Now once i iframe is loaded what i can observe that the api is called twice.. Now the website url which i have passed in src has a api call which dynamically creates fields.. Now this api gets triggered twice. Can we some how stop it from triggering twice
