unable to style index tab

When using child tabs, I am unable to style the very first tab. Thank you. onetopic-index

Not sure except to suggest to remove 'Index' page altogether. Some teachers were confused about what it was and why it was there.

The index is the 'landing' page for that topic. We rename the 'index' to "Overview" for those series of subtabs. Dont get rid of it!
