Add consistent controls of ticks and point sizes

When you export a graph to a PDF or PNG, the ticks displayed in the GUI can be very different from the ones displayed in the exported graph. Add controls to consistently control the output. Also, add controls to change the size of data points, but beware that there is a difference between GUI and PDF/PNG output.
